I'm not a fan of the QB development behind AA. It's Rafe, then Ty and Town isn't even in the picture.
Cole Kelly seems to be the 2nd coming of Ryan Mallet, hit the long ball but over throw the short pass.

Whaley and Williams seems to be 1a and 1b, Kody has never been healthy, Duwop ????

It eerily smells like "Smile" throwing BA to the wolves in the ULM game in tWarDump.

Kool-Aid replies only..

How the hell can you comment on the development of them when you literally haven't seen any of them take in-game snaps?

I can't even begin to make sense of 90% of this post.

I thought it had more of a 2006 feel where we weren't suppose to do anything and won the west

JLS didn't throw BA to the wolves against ULM, that came a week later against Bama.

Paul Petrino was more worried about style points than just running out the clock and winning the game, he's the one who snatched defeat from the jaws of victory that day.

We lost our starting QB and RB to injury before the first game that year, then got boat raced when Gus was allowed to try to run his high school offense against sc.

He wasn't the head coach but he did make the decision to spend practice time with only tw taking snaps.

So BA never took any snaps on the scout or 2nd team?

Rafe had minimal Back surgery and now all of a sudden Ty is the next guy up?

quote:

Redshirt freshman Storey appeared to make the biggest move behind Allen, as he took double the snaps of Peavey -- 28 to 14, in an unofficial count -- and completed 5 of 5 passes for 62 yards, including a 9-yard touchdown completion to tight end Cheyenne O'Grady in red zone work. Storey faced constant pressure from the second-team defensive line, as he was the recipient of five "sacks."

Dude played Arkansas 3A football.
To me that's a concern.

Qbs and rbs are the least of my concern. I said before that rafe was a career backup, storey will be the guy for a year or two. We're solid at QB for the next 5 years.

The secondary and OL are where one or two injuries would really hurt.

The most talented QB ever produced by this state played 3A ball, he ended up being a total headcase who snapped, but that was due to issues Storey doesn't have to face.

And yet in fall camp we still aren't sure who the #2 is @QB
We have zero depth behind Williams and Whaley other than Kody and Duwop. Last year JWill went down but we had Alex, a 1000 yd.rusher the year before.

Juan Day back on the 105

McFadden had a broken toe from a bar fight, but I don't remember losing a QB.

Lost Casey to a back injury that wasn't healed until the end of the season.

Lost DMAC when he kicked some guy outside a bar while wearing flip flops.

Robert Johnson was the starter to open the season at QB.
