Hate to post another weather thread on here but this needs its own thread.

So dude is mad because the school won't do snow routes. While the main highways are mostly clear, the side roads are totally fricked.

he completely lost me with the complaint about scheduling his vacay for the day after school ends. that turned it stupid for me, don't schedule so far in advance, schedule it a week later for this exact reason, something...

on the flip, i saw several state workers bitching about going to back to work tuesday and the gov office shut them up quickly with their response that they worked for the state and since the majority of people were back at work in the state so should they be.

Same thing with me about vacation. Who takes vacation the next day after school ends. Family vacation in may? Ehh..

If the bus couldnt make it to the bus stop, Then why should I have to drive in it to get my kid to the main highway.

Yeah, you actually can control when you schedule your family vacation. Schedule it a minimum of two weeks after the school year. Its the parents responsibility to schedule a family vacation at a time that will not be interfered with by snow make up days. Take responsibility for yourself, Jerkface.

I could be wrong, but I though most districts have a couple of days built into the schedule for bad weather. Also if they needed more days they start taking days away from spring break. I think this guy just wants to bitch.
