It's funny how people think the college landscape has changed so much but those mid-majors just replaced teams that were once solid programs. Like ours lol. The blue blood programs are still very much in the hunt every season or just a year or two away from it. Im not saying Arkansas will ever be a Kansas or a Kentucky but we should damn fricking sure be a Florida or a West Virginia. Both of which have left us in the dust for the past 2 decades.

Bill Self has made two Final Four's in 13 years at Kansas and he's a god.

With all the talent in the world.

All that matters is they improve and head into the postseason just like last year winning 6 of 7 and making the SEC title game. They started 1-3 last year losing to Miss State at home, then won 4 in a row, sound familiar? They are literally following last years model almost exactly.
Yeah that's what I want out of Mike. Return damn near the whole team plus stud recruits and do the EXACT same thing again with zero improvement in any area.

Top 3 SEC, SEC title game and who knows come March Madness? Yeah I'd take that for sure.

How can that possibly be a good thing in your mind? Last season was solid and the UNC loss was bullshite but we should not have been spinning tires from last season to this season. I'll admit the SEC is stout so maybe some of it has to do with the league cannibalizing itself. But we should not have had to scratch and claw at our own court for some of these wins, tonight included.

If we win every game by a single possession then so be it. But that isn't a recipe for greatness.

How could it not?

Top 3 SEC finish and SEC title game? Who in the world wouldn't take that before the year. Be insane.

Two more times than Mike ever has in 15 and a hell of a lot of trips with wins in-between.

And is Mike considered a basketball god with god tier talent? Nope.

Two times, 13 seasons.

13 straight conference championships in one of the hardest basketball conferences in the country. You're usually better than this.

Dude are you fricking high. If Mike even made the sweet 16 one time I promise I would not be having this conversation. Or at least won the SEC outright, which mind you I give very little shite about, but at least it means he's getting us in position for deep runs in the tourney. I don't give a shite if we lose a tough game in the 2nd round.what I give a shite about is we can't even get to a 4 seed or higher to give ourselves a decent chance.

So, off subject, (just now watching- know the outcome of course) if someone gets too close you can swat them away in basketball? I don’t ever remember seeing that before.

What is your obsession with the Sweet 16? How does one more win make Mike go from shite trash fire him to oh man he's great. One game, in which we win absolutely nothing for it.

I love how the Sweet 16 is some crazy bar to accept Mike. We gonna get Sweet 16 rings for the team?

You have to be high or retarded if that is your answer. They played for the title in that span as well so stop being disingenuous and put runner-up in there at least.

Oh well shite if we're throwing out year 3 Elite 8's for below average programs I got one too.

Mike Anderson.
