Alma was up 28-23 with 7 minutes left in the game. Beebe fell apart after that, turned the ball over on downs twice, and twice Alma scored making it 41-23 with 2 minutes left.
Alma ran a fake field goal on the extra point and scored two. Pissed him off (43-23)
Then Alma took a cheap shot on a receiver and got a PI call. Same play they level the QB after the pass and get a ruffing the passer.
Beebe threw an INT with 1 second left and Alma player ran 60 yds for the pick 6. (49-23)
From there it went down hill. Shannon was ripping a ref apart and evidently the PD didn't like it so they had him leave.

All I know is I live about 4 blocks north of Greenwood High School and it sounded like Fort Chaffee was having an artillery exercise. That cannon was going off last night.

Greenwood just barely got out of the Real Arkansas with narrow victories the last couple of weeks.
But a win is a win I suppose.

You know three teams West of Fayetteville on Hwy 62 made the playoffs. 2 are still alive.

I would expect a life growing up in the wasteland would make one tough and give you the skills it takes to play football. You don't see many mean streets of bentonville documentaries.
