He's going to be here for a couple more years regardless of what happens. Another hot end to the season is a relief, but we still have three games to go counting the bowl game.

What will really seal the deal is how the Hogs come out of the gates next season. Another slow start puts us in a hole for the third year in a row. With the skill position players we will be losing Bert is going to have to put in a lot of hours to keep us from coming out flat as can be.

What we need to do is hire Sumlin away from you to be co-head coach. Sumlin coaches the first five games (which, of course, he will win) and then Bert comes on as the relief coach to finish things up. Its the best of both worlds!

Think of it, they both get to spend time with their wives. Sumlin avoids the mid season humiliations that have plagued him the last couple of seasons and Bert gets the hot tag to come in and finish strong. But we'll keep our OC though, I prefer Enos to the Spav.

I'm happy for my Hogs and last nights win was glorious but let's wait and see how Miss state is handled before he hops off the hot seat.

He was never even close to legitimately being on the hot seat, it was just some of the fans expressing their displeasure with how we started - understandably so. Even if he was 5% on the hot seat at the time, he's a flat 0% now. These wins and showing that he can coach his team to never give up have really solidified his place here for the foreseeable future.

Unfortunately it looks like we might be in for another slow start next season, breaking in a new QB and possibly RBs. We really need Collins and RWIII back, though I'm doubtful we get either. We also need Town (or one of the other QBs) to step in and be somewhat ready to roll and not just a blank slate to start the season.

Ohh I agree. If he had beaten the powerhouse that is TAMU then, and only then would he get a pass.

Dude... Cmon man!
