Wonderful news. This is exactly how we should recruit.

LINK

Texas is #2 with the most high school players in the NFL behind California since 2000. Louisiana only has 28 less than Georgia and they are both border states.

but, but, ....Georgia and Florida have the type of players we need for our system.

Texas players are used up after high school.

Glad to see he is wanting to focus on Arkansas and Texas. I think in modern college football the further you are from home the harder the sell it is.

Nowadays top college football recruits are local heroes, so they aren't as desperate to leave momma's apron.

I look forward to Arkansas hitting Texas hard. The more Arkansas, LSU and A&M push for recruits in the region, the greater the influence of the SEC which leads to a marginalization of the Big 12 and a potential boost in SEC Network subscriptions/SEC merchandise sales.

So great hire!!!

Damn it, boxer.

You are being far, far too reasonable these days.

If you continue this, you, third spur , and EKG are going to be banned from the Aggie board

I am safe, TbirdSpur is admin over there. But thanks for your concern!

Honestly I don't think any A&M fan would argue against the marginalization of the Big 12.

Oh I know. I live in Waco and am constantly surrounded by Aggies and Longhorns.

The Aggies are a perfect fit for the SEC( money, crazy fans, bizarre traditions, loud stadium, etc.) You should have come in '92 with us.

Texas never was and never will be SEC material.
