Hopefully if any of you work for Murphy, you land on your feet.
About to lay off 23% of their workforce. They've already had layoffs once in the last 3-4 months.

A little ironic that results beat analyst's estimates. Most of that is one-time write downs of course.
Stock is trading higher this morning. I got in below $24 a few weeks ago.
Low expectations..... the secret to a happy life.
So glad I don't have to do the "Corporate gig" anymore. I paid my dues.

Yes it is. Roughly 391 jobs will be lost. I would imagine it hits El Dorado kind of hard.

Incredibly the stock is up 7.5% on the day. Expect a pull back before the close

The entire oil and gas sector is hurting. Worried about layoffs all the time these days.
