In all honesty, the sororities really didn't have a choice except to cut her. Hypocritical? Maybe, but maybe Miss D. has learned a lesson about how bad decisions can affect other aspects of one's life for quite a while sometimes.
Fwiw, a girl in my pledge class got kicked out of my sorority when I was in college because of her very public & well known slutty behavior. That type of behavior, when out in the open, has been frowned upon by many sororities for a long time. If it's hypocritical for them to want girls to keep their private lives private, so be it. There's something to be said for discretion. People should practice it.

Yeah- I really don't think it's hypocritical at all. You're a known porner or a 'known' whatever that's negatively viewed- its gonna cause issues when you're trying to join a group. That said, she's young - people make bad decisions at times so let her be. The fact that I'm even replying to this thread on this board I do find kinda disappointing but that's just me I guess.
