We lost the window to make it hot from the jump when we didn't play right after the DGB fiasco.

We should've been paired with them immediately.

I also agree that Tennessee is the most natural rivalry. They had it right when we first joined.

Mizzou should be in the West division. That needs to be rectified.

Mizzou to the west, Auburn to the east. Bama-Auburn permanent opponents. Ark-TN permanent opponents.

Although that leaves Missouri-UGA in an awkward relationship

I agree. Tenner is the most natural if we have to start a rivalry. If you ever met anyone from Arkansas near Memphis they all hate UT with a burning passion. Not sure why but they do

Knoxville seems visually similar to Fayetteville. Columbia is basically surrounded by cornfields. You leave the Ozarks hours south of there

Plus we are both hillbilly states. Missouri is full of city slickers from "North county", "South county", Johnson County or whatever. Not people from similar ground

The only Arkansas fans that think this will be good have some tie to Missouri, and I don't think any Missouri fans care about us becoming a rival. Hell most of their football fans are so casual they couldn't name all 14 sec teams

This is basically how I feel about it. Doesn't seem like the average Arkansas and Mizzou fan have very much in common.

The part where I disagree is that it does seem like Missouri fans have a strange hate for us and I'm not sure why. The posters on the rant are a great example - still bragging about a bowl game from a decade ago. I vaguely remember us beating them in Shreveport (I think?) - it's definitely not a game I would think to use as bragging rights.
