Let's jump ahead to the TAMU game....

Yeah, yeah, I know. We should be one game at a time. But I just cant help myself.
At the beginning of the season I counted TAMU as a definite win.. The dumpster fire that has been TAMU for the last season, and offseason made me believe this But they are much stronger looking than I thought. That Qback looks pretty good, their D is gelling under Chavis, and the RB isn't bad either.
This is one game that I am ready for us to win, and wishfully win convincingly. Tired of going into Jerry World and coming home with a loss.
I believe it is our conference opener as well.
Thoughts?

I can't believe you did this, Rev. 
I don't know what to think, but I hope the ags annihilate auburn this weekend and then we beat the ags and then alcorn and head into the bama game 5-0. That would be the tits as you boys like to say.

their not as good as they look. UCLA is in a rebuilding year and for fricks sake prairie view. Fayetville High could give them a run for their money.
Aggies are usually the wrost coached team we play all year. They take shitty angles, run shitty routes, have shitty technique pretty much in every department you can think of. they just have a lot of talent.
in the UCLA game Rosen threw three fricking picks. and the game still went into overtime. and Trevor Knight still had a lower QB rating lol.
make no mistake it's a losable game no question. I just don't see it this year. This year we have 3 things we've never had
1. confidence
2. A QB that doesnt wilt in the 4th quarter
3. A reason to to believe that we can do real damage if we win the game.. in three years since bert has been here we've not once been to this game undefeated.
I believe we take out 4 years of aggression on them honestly and beat the ever living shite out of them.

A&M has me nervous, but I do think it's telling that Vegas has them as a 3.5 dog to Auburn this week. I haven't watched them play yet but the folks betting money have, and they aren't giving them any love for that UCLA win.

They're basically calling the game even, only giving Auburn the home field advantage points more or less

I realize that, but just from scoreboard watching with no in depth analysis, I was expecting A&M to be about a 3 to 7 point favorite even on the road. The fact they're not tells me the UCLA win isn't as big of a feather in the cap as I thought it was.

shite i love 8pm kickoffs. i usually kick it pretty hard on friday nights it's not a gurantee i'm up by noon or 2: 30 lol

I'm the opposite. I feel more confident now than I did going into the season about this game. I'm honestly not sure how you had them penciled in as a win.

I'm not above this thinking just yet. However, I am at the point now where I expect us to win a one possession game. Bert started out 0–9 in single-score games and he's 5–1 since then. We need to come out and show we've improved a second week straight and put them away ala Nicholls State or NIU in 2014. Only then will I feel confident going into A&M week. That team has just been bad business for us, although we appear to get closer to winning every year. Maybe this year is the year.

Our defense can actually stop a spread team this year at least a few times a game. And our offense should be competent as long as the oline keeps growing and progressing.
