That is great but how many missed tackles happened on those 50 yard plays? We can always get players in better positions though. We also have players taking horrible angles when trying to attack the runner.

Do the Hogs have SEC caliber speed? Could that be the problem with big plays allowed by both Texas A&M and Alabama? “No,” Bielema said. “We have more SEC caliber athletes.”

We appeared to be running in mud, as compared to Bama and A&M. Petrino's recruited players had more team speed on D than what Bielema's defenses have had. Bielema has to realize that the SEC is the league that it is because of the overall team speed (on both sides of the ball).

I'm disappointed in the alignment issues. But that can be fixed.

What REALLY pissed me though is the apparent fear of some of our players to break down and tackle, even if it was a Mack truck coming at them. No excuse to ole at the RB.

That's what bothers me. Our tackling is horrible.

Seems our secondary just wants to grab at ball carriers instead of hitting and wrapping up.

I wonder if they are worried about injuries and depth. That's the only thing I can figure.

We either give up a TD or force a turnover. Lol

Why the hell isn't he involved already?

I'd think the Head Coach would be involved at some level with both coordinators.

Now if he's using his position time in practice to coach special teams.....

We're in a bad spot. I'd be more than happy if he'd bring back Steve Caldwell that dude was Aces.

Yeah that confused me too.

Don't think you would ever hear Saban say that he didn't realize until after the game that his defense was lined up wrong and that "he might need to get involved".

I hope he was just talking about a handful of plays but it didn't come out right.
