Here's a video from KFSM: video yo

Sounds like lots of crappy shows, but I'm just jelly since I live in Fayetteville.

It is the biggest in the state, according to the WAC folks.

In other news, I really like the renovation they recently did at the riverfront ampitheater in Little Rock.

A side note, the largest amphitheater in the state would have been Osage Creek Ampitheater, which stands partially completed outside Tontitown.

Its a shame those folks didn't wait for AMP to make their final plans known, although at the time they probably thought AMP was building a permanent venue in Fayetteville like everybody else did.

It would be nice to have something similar in the big mountain park the city just purchased on the south side.

That looks pretty cool.

I remember going to River Port Amphitheater in St Louis, when I was younger, during the summer months and it was great.

The Hunts are about to build a 9 story office tower there, too. In a weird way, that area has become "downtown Rogers". Too bad Brandon Barber isn't around to build some crappy condos in the neighborhood.

Is there any hope of this ever materializing? Would be real sweet spot for early and late summer festivals in NWA

This could do very well if they booked the right type of shows for Fayetteville
