Halfway through the season when we were most definitely going to fire Pittman, I wanted him. He will probably be Alabamas next coach, just signed with Jimmy Sexton.

Coaching searches and hires are what we excel at. ;)

If he would've left his situation at Washington for Arkansas, he's too dumb to have any success here

We hired a 40-year career OL coach with no coordinating experience as head coach in his early 60s.

You people are delusional thinking guys like DeBoer with the season he had would even consider Arkansas football.

Hang on to Sam for a couple more years and whomever Bama hires could be a viable option for Arkansas.

Less than 10 win seasons, playoff appearances, and playing sec titles will put bama into a two to three year rotation of coaches depending on "how bad" they are.

I don't see DeBoer going to Bama.

They are the most spoiled fans in the nation and drove Saban into retirement.

If he is smart, he stays in Washington.

I think he’s a fine coach but I need to see him without Penix just to confirm.

I agree, I wanted him halfway through the season. When I still thought Washington would lose..

It was like when Beard wouldn’t lose at Texas Tech.

Who took us out of the sewer to a 9 win season in his second year. Oops, we’ve already forgotten what we wanted any coach to do after that shite show.

Screw the guy, fire his arse so we can bring the next dude in to fire and pay, rinse/repeat.

Bear Bryant had back to back 6 win seasons in the middle of his Bama career, imagine if they had fired him right then.

I’m not comparing the 2 by any means but chasing our tail ain’t working. Morris needed firing without a doubt, Sam needs the benefit of the doubt imo….

Lol. Are you seriously comparing Pittman to Bryant?

9 wins was Pittman's peak and that was bc he had Burks and not a completely overweight Rocket Sanders. He has since regressed every season and might have even further regression if he was't lucky to have BP fall in his lap.

Stop making excuses for Tig Ol Bitties. He's not a great recruiter, leaves his cobeer buddies on staff too long, and just sucks at game managment and personnel decisions.

9 wins

8-4 plus a scrimmage win, but it got him a lifetime contract
