You should try Pickett's Mill which is 15 minutes away. Andersonville will give you the willies

Interesting places indeed! I will check them out the next time I'm in the area. Thanks!

That Southern Cal beat down at War Memorial was huge in 74. The next season Hogs finished the reg season in LR by stomping #2 A&M ...then the Hogs played (and got stomped) by UGA in the Cotton Bowl. Another big conference game was beating #2 Texas in LR during 79 season, Hogs were #10 and the win got us a trip to the Cotton Bowl where the #6 Hogs lost to big to Bama ( they won the MNC that season). It's hard to imagine that Arkansas used to play up to 4 games in LR back then. For a few years it would be 4 gms in LR and 3 on campus.

I might as well too. Thank you.

I've always loved NW Arkansas and have many fond memories taking my mom and my family to the fall craft fairs. Bella Vista seems like a heckuva place to retire to.

On football... I'm already penciling in Ark as a Missouri loss. That kind of running game has always given Pinkel's DC problems. I guess our Georgia game next week will provide some of the answers for ours in November.

On basketball... I can't wait! Our Norm protege vs. your Nolan protege. And much like Big Bert, it might take Kim Anderson a year or so to get his kind of players playing his kind of ball, but he will. At least we'll have some structure on offense and defense for a change.

Thanks again for the access.

Welcome to the board.

I think Mauk is the kind of QB that gives our defense fits and as you note we have UGA as a common opponent so we'll have more insight into our game over the next couple of weeks. There's lots of football left to be played between now and our game at season's end.

The basketball series has been great and should be for years to come. Hopefully we don't get swept again this upcoming season.

I for one am stoked about playing yall every year. In both sports. But mainly basketball. I can see this turning into something fun.
