I’m over 40 and this is the worst team I’ve ever seen us field.

They are absolutely non-competitive. Very little effort from anyone and the effort we do get is from guys trying to get theirs.

frick these guys.

Welcome to the age of mercenary college basketball where it’s a roll of the dice on if the mercenaries actually gel or not

We were blown out our fair share, but not every game like these guys are doing.

They tried and had Modica. They just sucked.

This looks more like the Fortson year but is probably worse top to bottom.

that 08 team finished 1-10 for the season

I don't think we have another win in us if we keep playing like this.

I can't stand the lack of effort... especially on defense. We need a big roster turnover.... and like Larry Johnson told Nolan..." you need to go get you some men"

We had better build out a roster that can bang in the paint in the SEC. This league ain't no joke anymore and there are some grown men that live on the blocks in this league.
Unfortunately we don't have any. Lawson is doing what he can but he needs help.

I don't even have time to get started this morning on guard play and the selfish mentality they have.
UGH!!!!

The frustrating thing this year is that individual talent may be as high as we’ve ever had in average….perhaps other than 92-95.

There is zero desire to play as a team and that is trending the wrong way as we continue to regress.

Not sure it’s fixable, but Muss’ style is more of an NBA type scout the opponent and teach rather than Bobby Knight’s old school “you’ll fear me more than you’ll be tempted to loaf” style.

Wish Heath would've used him better. Would handcuff him and basically tell him not to shoot at times even when he was our only scorer. Or sit him after missing an open 3. He didn't take many bad shots, was unselfish, played defense, but Heath treated him like shite.

Heath destroyed his love of basketball, but to his credit I never heard he say a bad thing about his time at Arkansas. Silence and body language can say alot though...and teammates of his that didn't mind holding back. Heath was hated by the players from day one for the guys Nolan brought in and probably week 2 by his quys. Jonathan was punished for being a Nolan guy and Heath didn't mind saying it. I think Heath hurt us waay more than Pelphrey.

The biggest thing I've noticed (besides the complete lack of defensive/rebounding effort) is that there is zero chemistry on offense.

Multiple times in the first half, a guy with the ball could have hit a guy for a wide open layup. Instead, they hesitated a moment, let the defender catch up, and ended up committing a turnover.

Guys are thinking instead of reacting, and this league is too talented for that.

Nolan would have this team breathing fire with the amount of depth and talent on the roster.

Those teams had Jonathan Modica, Steven Hill, Sonny Weems, Charles Thomas, Darian Townes and Ronnie Brewer.

They sucked because of Heath and Pelphrey. But they were tougher and more talented than these scrubs.

Last year and those 92-95 teams were more talented than this team.

They can play defense and make shots.

This team is a bunch of divas. Soft.

Brazile is probably the most disappointing player in my eyes. He refuses to sack up and score down low, whether it's put backs or driving to the rim.

He'd rather waste his 6'10" frame by sitting on perimeter and miss shot after shot.

Newsflash Trevon, if you are out on perimeter you can't get those hustle points this team desperately needs.

Now if he would start making 3's at his normal clip it would be ok, but as of right now he's hurting the team more than he's helping.

Seems to be the trend with this team. Instead of working hard to take a good shot, they take the easy route and take bad shots all game.

Body language is terrible from a lot of guys.

Just a sad bunch of "men"
