I had us at 2-2 so I'm pretty happy with 3-1 at the moment.

Nope bert can do no wrong. The assistants he hires that end up sucking arent his fault, recruiting isn't his fault, play calling is Enos's fault not bielemas, having a shite offensive line (OL supposedly bielema hallmark) isn't his fault. Bert handling special teams... Not his fault we blow. 6-6 and a Dec bowl this year is ANOTHER GREAT BRICK AT THE FOUNDATION OF BIELEMAS PROGRAM!!! all hail the coach who can never win shite but keeps getting paid!

Bielema is building a program!! Don't you know that takes 20 years to do??? Just look how long it took Sumlin to build aTm! He has been there for centuries

All of this before 3-1

I was out of town this weekend and may have missed it on here.

Were there any comments by a&m fans or other fans, or frankly even from our own fans about what Bielema said coming out of halftime to the sideline reporter?

I thought I heard him say something like "their quarterback can't throw"

I was wondering if maybe I didn't hear that correctly because that wasn't a very smart thing for a HC to say in the middle of a game. I can never remember any HC singling out a specific player on the other team with criticism of their skills or performance.

It was unprofessional and stupid, and only made worse by the 90+ yard bomb their QB threw not long after CBB said that.

I'm still supporting Bert but that was not professional. Might have just been one of those times when you blurt something that didn't come out the way you meant it or hopefully that he wish he hadn't said right after he said it.

My god this place has turned into Tardville over the years. I don't even want board access anymore.

I agree. Why the frick was AA in the game until the end saturday? That would've been great learning experience for a backup QB. Really dumb to not play them and risk injuring AA

STFU. He brings up a decent point. It was unprofessional.

You have got to be kidding me. He was specifically asked about Knight and just said they wanted to make him throw the ball and then said he burned us up the seam instead. It wasn't him talking shite. You have to have your head in the sand if you don't think every coach on their schedule is going to try and make him throw the ball. He was almost dead last in P5 conferences in completion %. Folks read in to things way too much sometimes.

I meant this thread (and this board) in general. Not necessarily the comment I "replied" to. Even so, Knight sucks and that's exactly how you're going to beat A&M this year. You keep him confined in the pocket and make him throw. Because he can't with any regularity at all.

And that may be well and true. I don't disagree, in fact. But I know if some coach said, "Their RT can't block," I would think that coach was unprofessional.

Story needs to be out there a good bit, just in case we have to throw him out there sometime this season. He needs to be given a chance to have a little success first before he gets thrown to the wolves going cold turkey into a game.

Didn't want to make a big deal out of it but the point was about the way he said it exactly, not generally what he meant to say. He said "their QB can't throw"

You just don't say it like that and I think he just misspoke, that's all.

I just know that if Sumlin had said that about AA at half and then it's AA that throws a perfect 90 yard bomb for a TD and we win the game, I would be trolling that comment unmercifully to a&m fans.

Surprised it wasn't in our sig pic, lol.

There were some mentions of it after the game but it didn't blow up like normal when BB says anything. Of course aggies aren't quite as dramatic with every teeny tiny microscopic nugget as say LSU or Auburn when it comes to those type of things.

No he didn't. I was watching it when I posted last night. He said we want to make him throw it. There was no trash talking in the words or tone he used in saying it. Hell he was almost laughing when saying that he then hit a seam and burned us with the run.

I went back to look at it to correct myself if I was wrong, but at the 1:20:00 mark of the video of the game on youtube which anybody should have access to, he said:

We want to make the QB run east and west, he can't throw the ball.

And he wasn't laughing when he said it, which would have been even more strange.

Can we move on now?

I obviously have an awesome memory. Rainman ain't got shite on me.

I was talking about 10 seconds further in the video. Apparently I missed the first comment. My apologies though as you are correct with your statement.

I do stick by my comment however that it's not a big deal at all for him to say that. Even after seeing what you're referencing, I wouldn't call that classless at all.

Lets move on though as you said. No sense in arguing personal opinion.

Do you guys have any idea how many times Calipari has said that "free throws don't matter" going into/from half, only to watch his team lose from their inability to hit FTs?
