Background:
I was born in Fayetteville, raised in Benton county until age 14. (My first words were Todd Day) dyed in the wool razorback. Moved to the deep south and when time came to go to college, we were 2.5 hours from LSU and it was the smartest decision to go there for a multitude of reasons. (Dad played football there in the 60's.)

I say the Hogs are my heart, LSU is my head. This is because I know Arkansas is missing something.

The Hogs will never be what I hope them to be. It just isn't in the cards, not in our DNA.

A Microcosm of Arkansas football happened tonight.
Convert an exciting fake field goal, just to kick a field goal.
Good to great teams just don't do that, they capitalize.

It's getting old fellas. When does it stop? It doesn't!

That being said I just bought tickets to Jerry World.
No way we step on our dicks and lose to Petrino and the faggies right?

In my over 40 years of life I’ve learned one thing. Arkansas Football will absolutely rip your heart out. I’ve lived through Ken, Crowe, Ford, Nutt, John L, Bert, Aggie, and Sam.

Only one coach in those 40 years every actually gave me some hope and that hope died on the side of an Arkansas highway.

I did get to experience the Nolan years which was one of the best times of my Razorback fandom, and had given up hope that I’d ever have that kind of excitement again then low and behold Muss shows up.

My hope is to live long enough to catch the next Muss for the football team.

Dad always told me growing up, Son you can love them but they’ll always break your heart. No truer words have been spoken.
