McKay going to be released

Edit: Exploring options, not officially released

I guess blocking drills didn't go well for him today.

Bret wanted the seniors to help the freshman, so all of the seniors stayed to watch the freshman practice

Brandon Allen looked good today and the confidence growing in him was obvious

Derby took most of the backup snaps

You could tell from early on that McKay was picky as frick when he waited until March to decide where he was going

Where could one find the practice schedule? I'm in NWA this week, I might be able to find myself and camera in a nice high vantage point.

@jasonrcarroll: BB: "Ollison looks like a different human being. You can see the power he has and the kids are aware of it.

HiV is close to a melt-down since yet another of their HiV All-Americans isn't going to pan out with McKay joining Whitehurst, Vinnie, and Mustain in the "what ever happened too..." list.

Man I hope so. Too many people are sleeping on that guy. He was a beast on the field down in Greenwood.

Yeah, but we don't have any receivers on the roster now that McKay is gone.

quote:

Given that we lose three senior receivers this season, and the fact that he started 10 games last year and was second in receiving as a true freshman, that seems like a terrible idea. He is set to be a great receiver here. This one hurts.

I can barely remember him seeing the field last year, in other words his presence/absence on the field was not noticeable like DJ and Gragg's.

quote:

We also have very few who are proven or were Petrino's top choices. We have ten WRs, but no proven weapons and not many who are expected to step up and be the next Wright or Hamilton.

Cancel the season because Bob's recruiting didn't plan ahead for Wright and Hamilton to run out of eligibility.

I look forward to the "Why didn't we sign Neal Burcham" threads when BA throws his first pick.

On the media room:

Well, the chairs are cool and pretty comfortable. I'm a little too fat for mine, but I'm almost to the place where I have to buy two plane tickets now. The room is rather plain with white concrete walls. It is VERY small. I was really expecting something a little bigger. I'm not sure this is actually the room. I've been told that it is though. Every seat is taken and people standing along the walls. 14 chairs are all that are in here.

14 chairs because that is more than enough for the legit reporters in the state...

Was he the practice all-star from Glenn Rose?

Yeah and we wouldn't be having the DL depth issues, according to HiV, if we had Sam Harvill on the roster.

I think Hatcher and Cowan most likely out worked him
