Hurts didn't have a good game.
Clemson could complete passes, Bama couldn't.
Difference in the game.

Meh...I have to disagree.

The reason Alabama didn't put up more points was because Hurts was missing passes. The reason Clemson won was because Watson can make all the throws and the Bama defense ended up wearing down and he made critical throws late.

Sure they're both mobile, but that wasn't the difference in the game. I think college teams need an agile QB who can move the pocket and pick up a first down with his feet, but Michael Vick or Johnny Football isn't needed to win a national title.

A balanced team is needed to win a championship. Alabama won titles with agile QBs in the past leading a consistent offense with a good defense.

Depends on the offense.

Bamas defense was on the field for 99 plays...

True dual threats mask bad play calling.

They improvise and make plays when nothing is there.
