So I'm gonna give a hypothesis on the Altee Tenpenny death.
He got off easy.
I'm just reading the MS state police report. One thing in there made me do a double take.
Having made plenty of mistakes in life, knowing the roller coaster of depression (aka hog football) and nearly every inch from every angle of despair and disenfranchisement. The sentence about Tenpenny's northbound car going off the highway on the lefthand side of the road.
I have many dangerous driving habits. Texting non stop. Aggressively overtaking slower cars on curves. A bit of inebriated driving. Never wearing seatbelts. And pushing the limits of the vehicle in bad weather and falling asleep behind the wheel.
I've had 6 car crashes that totaled vehicles and a couple that should have. Only once did I ever run off the drivers side of the road which I woke up before hitting trees and over corrected and wiped out in the opposite ditch doing a 180.
I have a suspicion that Altee might have committed vehicular suicide.
The car exited at a high rate of speed. Typically hitting a road sign isn't going to cause a rollover accident. I hit a succession of road signs on the sweeping curve on 265 that has a deep enough ditch to cause a car to flip. Took out about 4 arrow signs while making that curve after a night at OPO. Went through the ditch like missing a corner on Moto GP.
I've woke up driving 50+ mph in the embankments before a bridge I've never rolled. The description of the accident sounds like someone who aimed.
He was facing some prison time considering he also has priors. Drugs and guns mixing never ends well in front if southern judges.
Getting booted from 3 schools in a year's time and having to come back home a 3x failure is a tough pill to swallow. Sometimes driving into a culvert or a pole seems like an easy way to end it.

I considered this. did you read the police report of him getting arrested. he got arrested on purpose. he seemed to be trying to throw his life away. very irrational behavior. schizophrenia does develop usually after 18 years of age in men. usually somewhere between 18-24. he might have caught the short end of the stick.

in saying all of this, if he wanted to die he could have shot himself with the gun he had. maybe when he got arrested he was soo drunk he did all of that weird shite and woke up in jail and was like frick I've thrown my life away now and went and killed himself. in saying that though the description from his arrest sounds like someone who had a mental break, drank to medicate themselves and did what crazy people do. he went in public, acted crazy and got arrested. I have a friend who is schizophrenic. his craziness comes and goes in its intensity. sounds like he was on a high wave when arrested. got out and realized what happened (crazy people are usually not stupid and know they are crazy) and decided to off himself. it does happen frequently.
that or he was doing what he was doing when he got arrested. he was driving extremely intoxicated. either the boy was crazy or had a serious problem with alcohol which isn't a laughing matter either.

It's definitely a possibility. I don't want to contribute to this in case his family might read it.
I will say this, though
You are a horrible driver

This is exactly what I said in the other topic:

I don't know the details of this whole thing, but with his football career being over and criminal charges pending, I just hope this crash wasn't intentional in some way.

I'll add that every single time the thought to swerve into a bridge or the path of a semi it was always to pull a sharp left. Direct driver side impact is always the thought or sometimes to Dukes of Hazard off an interstate bridge into the Arkansas River.

Meh. No surprise. I had the same thought when it happened. As a matter of fact, my brother tried the same thing after getting in trouble several times. That woman hitting drug abusing POS didn't have the common courtesy to die though.

Not much to tell I haven't spoke to him in 10 years.Totaled his truck and walked away without a scratch. To sum it up, he's even a fricking failure at suicide.

You're not big on forgiveness, huh?

How can you even post that in this thread.
It's so disrespectful and disgusting.
