He isn't like Nutt, He isn't losing games at Vandy that Vandy shouldn't lose, he isn't winning many games they shouldn't either, but their seasons haven't been huge roller coaster rides. He has met or exceeded expectations each season.
Nutt wasn't a great coach, but he wasn't a shitty coach like Dooley/Joker or the like how many portray him to have been on the field either.

I'm guilty of being hard on Hootie, I did not like his as a person long before all of his controversy. IMO, he was a piece of S**t.

He's winning games at vandy, they are usually one of those shite teams without a winning record but now they're beating those teams at least.

Franklin is a good coach and would satisfy me if he were hired here if others turned us down.
What he has done at Vandy is remarkable. He has changed the entire thought process there and they believe they can win every game now. 8-4 at Vandy is impressive as shite, no matter who you beat.

I posted on here a while back, can't remember exactly. You would have to look at my post history....about McIntyre out at SJSU. His name popped up in a Congo with some folks one night. He has done a remarkable job in just a short time out there.

I watched their game against LaTech last night and was very impressed. It was my first time to see them live and I absolutely loved their offense. Their OC is extremely young but he runs a system that looks very similar to what Petersen runs at Boise. Multiple formations and personnel groupings and tons of pre-snap motion. It was pretty solid. I really liked how he rotated his backs as well and moved his TE's all over the formations. MacIntyre has good experience in the south/Texas as well so he would already be familiar with our recruiting territory from day 1.

Nice. That would be a spectacular under the radar hire imo if we strike out on the tier 1 choices.
