Mike’s rotations were never going to let that happen.

A lot of stuff was never going to make that happen.
If one of his main gripes was that he thought he was a one and done, nothing was going to fix that.

All that being said, still sucks he left.

if the kid was dumb enough to not know about having to sit out a year... perhaps it is best he move on.

Lordy mercy....

as for being one and done, HE was NEVER A 1 and DONE... Except playing one year and moving on.

We will miss the experience, however we have some good players coming in. What MA does with them???? Awww Geeze... we will see again, and again I guess.

He and Jahbril Price-Noel looking like the first two targets.

We must really, really suck at recruiting or evaluating grad transfers.

No shite. I was really hoping we'd go after a grad transfer and save the scholly for the '19 class. We have some moronic motherfrickers "leading" the basketball program.

Such a great basketball program. Worked out well this year for Missouri.

He would bring in some size to back up Gafford. We need that. He's not a game-changer, but he's better than wasting a scholly on a reach who will mainly ride the pine this next season.

Basically be a redshirted Trey Thompson and would give another scholarship to go with Justice Hill next year.

Hopefully Javon Franklin.

Jacory Williams blowing up at Middle Tennessee hurt us.

How?

He was kicked off the team for off-court issues. Transfers to a low-major, redshirts, and has a good year in a lower conference. I realize he wasn't a fan favorite here, but he had athleticism and was a player who would have and did benefit the most from a redshirt year.

So by the same logic Mickelson transferring to Kansas, going through Self's big man camp during his redhirt year, then showing he still wasn't a "stretch-4" his dad and other around him believed actually helped Arkansas?

Most of the players who transfer from schools every season are usually guys who would benefit from a redshirt year at the school the first attend, instead they leave and are forced by rule to redshirt.

Transfers are a huge part of the game today. Occasionally it is an overlooked player trying to transfer up from a lower conference, most cases are guys who will be 4 year players who don't want to develop at their first stop after seeing limited minutes their freshman/sophomore years as they are led to believe from those around them that it is their current situation holding them back.

You can say Ethan Henderson, until UltimateHog feelings get hurt and he deletes it.
