Damn that is terrible. Like really, really bad. I don't see how that is even possible for a TE.

How bout that vertical on Kenneth Dixon? He's a poor man's Barry Sanders. Don't mind blocking, has a good attitude, and works hard. Hope he does well. Arkansas has 3 quality backs in the draft this year. All around quality...not just skill wise. Really hope JWill didn't make a mistake by going this year. He's in a tough spot with the injury.

Bodies by herb paying off I see.

Anymore weight and he is venturing into Lacy territory. He was perfect this year, lost some and had much more breakaway speed. And basically didn't lose any tackle breaking ability.
I thought he looked the best he ever has during the bowl game. Dude looked greasy fast.

You could tell that in 2014 too..it's amazing how the SEC wears teams out. That's why they do so well usually in bowl games. Rest = fresh legs which equal dominating bowl wins.

You're a pretty negative fella, huh?

I'm a realist.

you could have pointed out the bodies by herb earlier in the thread when it would have been viewed in a more positive light. instead you only pointed out the bodies by herb when it fit your agenda of negativity. that's not being a realist, that's only focusing on the negative.

The Herbert comment is warranted… these numbers are awful.

What alarms me is that Hunter put's up 13 reps and said frick it, I'm not doing anything else.
Did he injure himself?

of course you would agree
It's the results on field that matter, not workout numbers.

I guess the hand measurement is with your fingers spread out as far as possible?
I'm 5 11 1/4 (used to be 6 0 until disc compression robbed me) and measure 9 in on the rt hand and 10 in. with my left. The difference is likely because I grew up playing piano and had to reach octaves with my left hand at an early age.
I wear size 7 gloves in the OR which are a touch tight on my hands, but I like how they feel with the instruments.
Bottom line is that I have pretty small hands and struggle to get a secure hold on a FB. Have no idea how BA has done so well with small hands

Saw this on 247 just now and thought it was interesting. He's talking about Nkemdechie.
quote:
He struggles with consistency too, according to NFL Network's Mike Mayock.
"His Alabama tape is as good as any defensive tackle tape as I’ve seen in years, but then he disappears,” Mayock said during Sunday’s combine. “He has the off-field issues and on the field, he’s been inconsistent not just game to game, but snap to snap.
“Again, he has so much ability and all the talent in the world, but there are questions. What am I getting if I draft this kid? Falling out of a second-story window is enough, but there's other stuff. He got tossed around like a rag doll against Arkansas when I watched that tape. He had one assist.”
