exactly my biggest gripe with Mike.... two young athletic forwards and they are NOT being developed. Amazing to me. both can leap and rebound (Lord knows we need help there) and yet they sit and watch.....

Because he is unbelievably raw and struggles mightily on the defensive end. If you can't play defense you don't get on the floor much because we suck on D enough as is.
It's like people forget Jones was an 81 low as shite 3 star recruit with 3 other offers from Chattanooga, Murray State, and Tennessee State. Did you really expect him to be starting in SEC play as a true frosh? He's a major major project that will likely transfer or won't get on the floor much until year 3.

You can put a great defensive player in a shitty scheme and it won't matter. When Jones shoots, he scores.
