worth a shot culture changes dont come willingly most ofthe time. this is a good chance in combo with attrition to make that happen though

We've got to do something to stop the bleeding. Maybe this will help? One thing that is evident, for all his hyper active friendliness, CCM is more of a hard arse then Bert.
Bert's nickname should have been Buddha because he rarely got upset... even when he should have gotten upset.
The one time Bert coached pissed off and got in some folk's behinds was the Florida game. The game before had been a bad loss and Bert spent the week before Florida in a foul mood. To the point where the TV announcers talked about how unusual it was. Then we went out and destroyed Florida.
You don't have to be a miserable SOB all the time to be a head coach, but if the situation calls for it, there are times to use it.

hate to say it this way, but it looks like we've got a HC who loves to bring attention to himself, on the level of another attention whore HC at Pulaski Academy

On a serious note, I don't give a rat's arse how he builds the program as long as he continues recruiting at the level he is currently. Bring more attention to the program if it helps recruiting. Just win games.

Precisely. The shtick worked fine for Dabo.
It's a no win situation right now. If they get shiny new stuff it's "this team wins 2 games and gets new shite?". If he takes away all the flash then it's elementary school coaching. If he does nothing differently, then he obviously doesn't care about turning around the program because he stuck with what he did last off-season.
If this resonates with the players then whatever. I don't really think it's something all that noteworthy. But it's the off-season, so I suppose we'll grasp to whatever news we can get.

well, I'm actually talking about how we as fans are supposed to forget how we could have easily won 5 or 6 games this past season instead of 2
but that opinion is shouted down on all forms of social media, and that includes this board

We should have beaten Ole Miss and CSU. Every other game ended the way it should have.
