I agree and I'm not asking for a banning- I just thought the whole lot of us should be privy to what we're dealing with here.

Cane's is waaaaayyyy overrated, & they do something funky to preserve their chicken with formaldehyde. The menu is much too limited & the sauce is the only thing that's good, but you can google the recipe. Extremely overpriced for what it is. Hell, Popeye's has better chicken strips, & I'm not a Popeye's fan. ... Zaxby's >>>>> Cane's.

... Of course, my kid is almost grown, or thinks he is, so he gets the big Caniac combo thing, with extra sauce, of course, which they charge for bc it's their "gold." And seriously, you can get the recipe; I think OG has their exact one.

At Cane's??? Hell, I didn't even know they had gravy!! They don't have it at any of the ones I've been to here. I wonder if it's a regional thing? ... I believe you about it being nasty, though. I swear, people in/from SELA do NOT know how to do "home style" cooking. They either want to "Cajun it up" or add nothing & it tastes like what I imagine wallpaper paste would. The difference is unbelievable in that style of cuisine between north & south LA. They just can't do it down here.
