He cant throw a ball over 30 yards. Literally

Ask Herndon, Horton, or Hatcher

Considering the lack of players on the defensive side of the ball, yup, all BA had to do is throw it out of bounds..

I have yet to see Brandon Allen show any type of leadership, and its been one full season

Not once did he run up and down the sidelines firing his guys up

Not once did he come into a huddle and get the offense jacked

Not once did he lead by example in getting the team fired up. He plays lazy and it shows

He also has not gotten any better as the season progressed

He stares down receivers

He never sets his feet

He is inaccurate

His range is 30 yards and in on a good day with no wind

I agree with this 100%.
Honestly, this is the biggest problem I have seen with Allen. No enthusiasm, no intensity, no leadership. I don't think he has what it takes, internally, to be a good QB of a major college football team. A player either has these qualities, or doesn't; no one can teach those things. I don't see it AT ALL in Allen.

Yeah it's pretty bad when the announcers straight call you out on national TV about always locking on to your primary receiver and only throwing to him.

Then they said "watching the film, he maybe doesn't look off defenders the way you like"

AKA he always stares down one man. Its a wonder he only has 10 interceptions

not trying to be a downer, but have you watched Peavey's HS film?

Peeves

Pros: His running and elusiveness are off the charts.

Cons: His passing is 75% horrible. I just hope Chaney can coach him up because he is a RB that struggles with passing on a HS level. His throws hang up wayyy too long, and he makes a lot of poor judgement throws. I cringe on half of his "highlight" passes.

I know he's just in HS, but with his elusiveness he has all day to throw against HS level dbs. There should be no reason to have that many lobs and forced throws when you're winning and have all day to throw.

With faster throws and better decision making, Peavey could dominate, no question.

exactly. I would have hope if Chaney would start putting his foot up our qb's asses.

Honestly he seems like a career backup to me.

Watching USF's true freshman QB isn't encouraging me on Brandon Allen. He's making plays that BA only makes on Playstation.

eta: jinxed him. He threw an Allenesque game clenching INT.
