SEC

If No. 1 isn't in College Football Playoff

SEC Winner (Bama) is in the playoff.

1. Allstate Sugar Bowl or Discover Orange Bowl (Miss St)
2. Capital One Bowl vs. ACC or Big Ten No. 2 (Georgia)

The conference will assign teams to the respective bowls in this pool

Outback Bowl vs. Big Ten No. 3 (Ole Miss)
Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl vs. ACC or Big Ten (Missouri)
TaxSlayer Gator Bowl vs. ACC or Big Ten (auburn)
AutoZone Liberty Bowl vs. Big 12 (LSU)
Texas Bowl vs. Big 12 (Texas A&M)
Belk Bowl vs. ACC (Tennessee)

Next Tier

Birmingham Bowl vs. ACC (if available) (Florida)
AdvoCare V100 Bowl vs. ACC (Arkansas/S.Carolina)

I'm pretty confused on how the bowls set up now. If we get bowl eligible I could see us in Shreveport playing a team like Cincinnati.

I'd love an Oklahoma St./Arkansas bowl or really any bowl tbh. A bowl against some overmatched middling power 5 team with some name value that we could just hammer would be a great wave to ride into NSD.

from speaking with some bowl directors and information folks with the SEC office..

The pool bowls of
Outback Bowl vs. Big Ten No. 3
Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl vs. ACC or Big Ten
TaxSlayer Gator Bowl vs. ACC or Big Ten
AutoZone Liberty Bowl vs. Big 12
Texas Bowl vs. Big 12
Belk Bowl vs. ACC

Will be decided in conjunction with the SEC office, Bowl Choice and School Choice.

Each school will be given a ranking to do of bowls they are eligible for, Bowls do the same and placement by the SEC Office.

Preference will be given with regards to considerations towards fan travel, ticket purchases, history, etc...

For instance, if Florida is in consideration for Liberty/Gator/Franklin... Preference would probably be Gator.

For Arkansas it would be a closer destination...

Anywho... this is the info I have. If that helps.

we are the 2nd place choice for the Liberty, Tenner is 1st...

We would face either OK, TX, or WV most likely.

Can you imagine the first two against us in the Liberty, place would be rocking!
