Actually MLK Wal-Mart in Fayetteville carried it for a while and the one on Joyce still does. Should be in the meat section.

Ha! You better get below Hot Springs and realistically probably below Texarkana to find Boudin in Arkansas.

You can barely find decent crawfish 50 miles above the Louisiana .... Much less freakin Boudin that I would bet 75% of Arkansans have never heard of and less have ever eaten.

I grew up 20 miles from Louisiana border and could barely find it there. But, if there are any "Brookshire's" grocery stores in your area they might have it, it carries lots of Cajun foods, but I think it's only a Texas-LA-South Arkansas chain.

Good luck. The only place I have ever found it is just the normal "fake" stuff at Walmart. I had hit up Richards Meat Market before and they didn't have any of it.

Bringing some back from the Redneck Riviera next week.

The stuff at Walmart don't impress me.

Richard's Meat Market might have some. They have a specialty sausage called "Boudain." Not sure if that's the same:

Also might talk to Maudie at Cafe Rue and see if she has suggestions. She's a legit LA chef (she, unfortunately, closed her seafood/cajun market that would have had it.

Originally, Miller County...Spent my whole childhood going to Shreveport and North Louisiana.. I can actually get good crawfish and coon arse foods there. But hell most LA folks don't even claim anything above Natchitoches...

They think Monroe and Shreveport are just rednecks and who don't know the virtues of LA culture. It's very similar to NWA vs LR dynamic.

I could see that except I see it being more south vs north little rock. All options are shite holes which could never compare to truly nice places to live.

Union County got all the Monroe TV stations right? We got only Shreveport channels, of course I lived in the sticks and literally couldn't get Arkansas news and networks... Even with satellite...

I missed countless Razorback games, both football and basketball, as a kid because we couldn't get channel 7...Damn we never missed shitty Saints highlights though!!

I know the feeling I guess it depends where at in union county because I got the arklatex news. I think that's where my hatred for lsu began.
