Bert's Pre-LSU Presser. (I'm afraid he's going to have a coronary episode soon)

Jeez, listen to how winded he gets just talking.

He needs to start parking at the edge of the pit and walk to his office a few hundred more steps. I don't want him collapsing on the sideline when we actually win here soon.

LOL, dude is a fat frick. I can't imagine that his doctors havent' told him he's gotta make a lifestyle change. Just think if he had a desk job and didn't have to walk around as much as he does coaching.

I can't get excited about Spaight doing extra film study one week of the year.

There's 51 other weeks that the team hasn't done enough to get over the hump.

WR's should be catching balls from the Juggs. QB's should be honing accuracy. RB's should be working on ball security. Defensive players should be working on everything.

I'm proud that the team hasn't folded. Recruiting character guys pays off in toughness and resiliency.

You might know, but I'm not sure if this is the first time spaight has done that. I just know it's the first time Bert has mentioned it.

Also not sure how much the rest of the team has or hasn't done unless Bert has mentioned it. I do know they've done enough to improve immensely from last year. But like you said not quite enough to get over the hump. Just enough to almost beat top 10 teams.

Texas AM had to bench Kenny Hill, we see that turned out pretty good.
I know we don't have any 5 star Qb's on the bench, but Brandon Allen isn't good enough to need 40 pass attempts per game.
At least give Duwop 7-10 wildcat plays per game.
Eff it, burn Peaveys redshirt just to give us some hope. The Allen's can transfer for all I care. We need to win this year.
If we lose out, at least Chaney will be out the door.

I will say this. Auburn and Georgia whipped us this year. Not too shabby to be honest given where we are with the rebuilding project. Other then that we have been in every single game we lost. Yes, moral victories and sneers by the rest of the rant.

But we have lost a couple of games we could have won because of QB play and OC mistakes. Yes, I know, I am ranting. Big Bert needs this game.

It is against LSU. A team we play well against. At home. With conditions that favor our style of play. We need this game and the next two, to fall our way. The extra practices for our young players. The prestige of going to a bowl game, even if it is the Liberty Bowl. It is time Arkansas showed signs of turning the corner.

Ok, it is time... Past time to win a game in the SEC.

I have been patient, and I have seen the vast improvement from last year and the previous. But Gosh Darn! It is time. Come on CBB and get it done, if it means relegating Chaney to a Desk job and taking over the offense, or giving it to Lunney, or whatever.. I don't care. It is time for a win period.

NOW!

Rant on/off...

We need Alex Collins to have a career day. Hunter Henry could go off anytime, but that requires passing the ball.
Come on Duwop, lets do this!

Serious question. Has Duwop recorded any stats this year?

He had a couple nice runs late against TT. A nice save on a trick play against Bama for a 1st down. Then a wildcat incompletion against state.

Might have a handful more carries too
