Looks like some positive publicity.

I just don't get it. How are recruits not lining up to play for the guy?

so is CBS doing this or Bo?

Couple things:
1) The media sees how much attention Bert gets when he speaks, whether positive or not, he just about always gets more attention than 95% of coaches out there. Looks like they're trying to cash in some on that here.
2) This looks like Bert is trying to refresh or reset his image some. Rightly or wrongly, a lot of people see him as arrogant, or whiny, or whatever, and this is his attempt to set the record straight about who is he and what he's about.

I feel like this has all the makings of being something that gets yanked before it airs.
It's a sizzle reel that looks like a standard longform news piece turned into something that they're trying to sell/market/hype as in-depth documentary or even reality show type thing.
Which probably wouldn't pass muster past SEC Network/Arkansas media folks without all the sign-off/approvals that come along with that.
just my $.02

Yeah I kind of thought the "coming soon" part was more of a joke than actually being true.

Right -- this looks like a proof of concept trailer, but I'm baffled by it all so I'm gonna go over it like the zapruder film.
They've so far shot:
one interview with jeff long
one with bielema
they grabbed quick soundbytes with staples and wolken at the SEC championship game
a whole lot of slo-mo video of bielema at a practice and on his trip to the SEC championship game (pushing the hell out of that fs700, dog)
Also, the interviews are all unlit, and the sound system is all wired, which seems super run-and-gun in the production department, so this was shot by maybe one person? Are they trying to sell it somewhere so they can shoot more? If so, why would anyone with the dollars to buy something buy something that looks like it's been produced by a solo person? Is this for Bo's show? What's the endgame then? Did they release it so they could prove that people would be interested in it? In doing so, did it become something that's raised red flags? I NEED ANSWERS.
Please, someone fill me in.

graphics, camera angles aside... Love the idea. Hope it goes.
Man, I love that fast bastage...

Saw the team arrive at the Peabody last night (we were there coincidentally for a family trip). Coach B was a celebrity there. People interviewing him everywhere and tons of non-Arkansas people pointing and talking about him.

It totally looks like a one crew here. One camera and one mic. The access they got is what is baffling to me. They're getting on the airplane and in the car with him. The interview with Long is also puzzling, is this secretly university sanctioned? Why would Long give interviews to just anybody. Is Bo's show paying for this or is it KNWA? Hmm maybe they're just trying to sell it as a series to ESPN or CBS as some have stated. It was clearly mostly shot on the SEC champ game trip.

Literally said the exact same thing the tRant thread.
We simply don't pay enough apparently.

Bo's show paying for it?
Really dude? The yearly budget for that POS wouldn't be able to afford a VHS camera for filming.
