BBall inks Lorenzo Jenkins

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Arkansas men’s basketball head coach Mike Anderson has announced the signing of small forward Lorenzo Jenkins from First Baptist Academy in Naples, Florida to a National Letter of Intent (NLI) to join the Razorbacks for the 2015-16 season.
A recently reclassified student-athlete from 2016 to 2015, Jenkins was the Florida Class 3A District 18 Player of the Year in 2014-15 after averaging 14.3 points per game and 6.6 rebounds per contest. The 6-foot-5 small forward ended his prep career with 1,270 points and 612 rebounds.
A 47-percent shooter from the floor last season, he averaged 1.3 steals per game, 0.6 blocks per game and 1.8 assists per contest on his way to being named to the Naples Daily News All-Area Team and the Class 3A All-State Team.
