They were a 5 seed that lost to 4 seeded North Carolina who was a terrible match up for the hogs, won 27 games, finished second in the SEC to a Kentucky team that went 38-1.

i didn't say i was always fair and logical. that team just had some beautiful moments during the season which led me to expect more.

If Bert accomplished what Mike did that year we would build him a statue

Just heard this on the radio, I thought it was awesome that he said it and the way he said it.

Basically reiterated that the crowd last night was not the Arkansas crowd that he expected and was used to seeing, and that normally it's a hard place to win solely because the crowd is always raucous unlike last night. It also sounded like he's a buddy of CMA and thought this team and coach deserves better than that crowd. I like the fact that he thinks that he can swing more fans to attend and I hope he's correct.

I knew that type of reply was coming. The Portis/Qualls team was better than "decent." And this team is better than that one. Knowing our fans though, we could start 12-0, lose one game, and people will call for Mike's head on a platter.

I'd freaking hope so. Have you seen our schedule?

Maybe if they'd go to the tourney more than once in 5 years more fans would show up
