ETA: By the way, KA is rated slightly ahead of Whitt on 247.

Kheil Frazier was rated slightly ahead of B Allen.

One is a SEC starting QB, the other is a DII bench warmer.

Because recrootin rankins are everything.

Babb's spot needs to go to a forward.

Hopefully another Coty Clarke is out there.

They say Frazier is about 6-7 now.

Still hate losing Babb, he was pretty poorly managed by MA if I'm honest.

That is unless he knows Qualls is staying/Dusty Hannahs is the second coming of JJ Redick.

How so? He had chances before SEC play to crack the rotation, but played timid. I think most would say he showed promise but not alot confidence. Look at what Beard did with his early mins for an example of someone who took his chances and was rewarded.

I thought Babb was going to breakout next season, but he was looking at alot of competition for mins. He had chances to be more assertive, which he started flashing late, but with year 4 being a bit of a make or break season, Babb only has himself to blame for not making his case.

I agree. MA gave him shots. He just didn't take advantage of any of them.

His minutes rotations made no sense.

And he hit a couple big shots at the end of the season when he was playing in the SECT.

Then he just disappears. It was odd to say the least.

And you cannot sit here and say Durham proved anymore than him, yet Durham constantly played, regardless of all the stupid passes, complete lack of creation and missing wide open threes sans the 2 he hit at the end of the season.

Beard going ice cold from the field also warranted some PT for Babb near the end.

Also, I know we will be fine, I just hate losing a clearly athletic, 6-5 guard, maybe its rose colored glasses, but I liked what I saw out of him more than anyone we have coming back at the guard slot, minus early Beard (good shooting Beard).

durham barely played down the stretch, id bet he avg around 5mins per for february. I think MA called his name in the NCAA's because of his age and he at least showed effort on the offensive side. not really the best time to insert a freshman who had spent a whole season looking tentative.

Minutes in games are earned during practices, MA is old school like that.

Fans do not get to see the practices...

I guess its water under the bridge and happens at every program. Just hate to see a big athletic guard go away when they're always at a premium for us.

Hearing at least one of the potential pros will announce Wednesday.

Have you guys heard anything? My gut tells me Qualls but what do I know.

Well the twitter acct tweeted out "back to work" yesterday and the pic was of a team breakdown after a workout in the weight room and Qualls and Portis were in the middle.

If Qualls and Portis return, what does the starting line up look like? What FR would be able to make an immediate impact? I'm not up to snuff on the BB recruiting.

i could see whitt starting but i would not count on it. I would think Bell has the 2 spot wrapped up as a senior

Beard/Durham
Bell/Watkins
Qualls/Whitt (4* coming in)
Williams/Kapita (4* coming in)
Portis.Kingsley

You can interchange Bell/Watkins/Whitt as well.

Ideally we'll see a big jump in consistent offensive production from both Bell and Watkins. Watkins started to show some potential for creating runners and getting to the rim a bit. Hope his confidence continues to improve.

I'd put Hannahs ahead of Watkins behind Bell.

I'd like to see more of Portis at the 4 and Kingsley at the 5.

Maybe not as a permanent lineup but used where it would match up well against certain opponents.

Anybody see the tweet from BP after the Kentucky loss? Something along the lines of "where were all these fans when we needed them." Didn't give me a warm fuzzy.

What is the context? That doesn't even make sense to me.

He's since deleted it, so I can't tell. He did retweet this around the same time:

Why is the whole state of Arkansas going against the SEC team ??? We are the SEC

Maybe he perceived that Arkansas fans were more excited about a Kentucky loss than a Hog win?
