Too early to tell but considering how many of us (myself included) thought we'd be, it's definitely not a bad sign.

In all seriousness, it was good to see that they went out and were able to score points against any level of competition. To put up 108 with even a high school team guarding you, albeit not much, but does say that they at least have a pulse.
Going to be a long year? Likely. But perhaps it won't be as bad as we thought. Managing .500 this year will have to be considered a success if Beard doesn't make it back.

I will say that I think Hannahs and Bell could be a pretty good 1-2 punch from three point range. If they both get hot in the same game like they were yesterday we can beat a lot of teams at home. We all know how streaky Bell can be though.

don't get me wrong I'm not suggesting suddenly we went from awful to final four good.... I'm just thinking if we can eek out a .500 record this year it would be better than I'm expecting so putting up 108 against anyone is encouraging.
