opening weekend in Union County sucked... for me at least... hoping for some better results this weekend.

We didn't see much in Calhoun County over the weekend. My buddy sent me a text at 9:00 this morning and he had seen 17 so far, all doe and fawns with the exception of a year and a half old 6 point.

it was the slowest opening weekend I've had in 28 years of hunting. grand total of 4 deer all weekend and 2 of the 4 were driving out in the neighboring field at dark on Sunday night.
