I'd love for 25,000 hog fans to show up and drown out both fanbases with hog calls.

Can their county roads and stadium handle 25k people? Also I love that Mizzou is stooping to this level

The stadium seats 31,000. This will be the biggest game they've ever hosted.

I can't believe an SEC team is playing there.

If you go please find a way to Frick up their cheers the way wolf howling has infiltrated the hog call. TIA

I was thinking the same thing.

StAte certainly did upgrade their stadium and indoor practice facility. Who knew they outsell half of Conference USA while in the SunBelt.

"Three CUSA schools sold fewer than 5,000 season tickets in 2015, FAU, North Texas, and Rice. Only five Conference USA members sold more season tickets than AState, Marshall, Old Dominion, Southern Mississippi, UTEP, and UTSA"

Little Brother has certainly improved their fan support and facilities with 4 or 5 difference coaches in five years.

Season Tickets by the years for ASU

2014 (8571 Tickets)

2005 (3210 Tickets)

I suggest we gift them War Memorial while we expand.

They do need to come to LR.

They played Okie State there several years back. Not a sell out. Not that anybody sells out WMS anymore.

UCA vs Arkansas State at War Memorial would be a big weekend.

It's just one of those things. When we made the conference switch it wreaked having on our non-con scheduling as almost everyone already had dance partners years into the future.

The Athletic Department tried like heck to make it a neutral site game, but they wouldn't budge.

Should be a good game.

Why would stAte want a neutral site game?

I assume to make more money.

They were trying to set it up at the Dome in St. Louis which actually wasn't a bad idea. The annual Mizzou-Illinois game was always well supported and a 60,000+ gate might have made it worthwhile.

Meanwhile if the St. Louis Rams end up leaving for Los Angeles, the eastern part of the state is going to go all-in on SEC Football. So it would have been a great move on that front, too.

That said, I don't blame State for wanting the home game over any extra money. A P5 home game is a feather in their hat.

Sounds like a trend, Tigers are playing MTSU with similar seating.
