I missed the Topless 100 this year because I was out of state.

On the final night I'm usually there into the night unless it rains (which it seems to do with some frequency) in which case I have to make the drive back on Sunday.

I can't sit still either, but it's not from excitement. It's from the big arse hemorrhoid I got during the Ole Miss game. I thought my head was gonna explode, but instead...it was my butthole.

That is awful. I hope your butthole gets well.

Definitely the least-exciting SEC game for me.

I still can't get my head around them being in our league.

They are even a worse fit (geographically) than we are.

Game concerns me a little. Pinkel's last game IF he doesn't win. Them playing for bowl eligibility. Weather going to be shitty. Dead crowd. Our running game sputtering, Collins not 100%.

We'll see.

I planned to go. But I've pretty fair weather and wishy-washy this season so sitting through a cold 3" downpour to each what will likely be a flat team playing against a stuff D trying to get bowl eligible doesn't appeal more to me than just coming into the office wrapping up the last of my duties before watching the game from home or my new office while I work on these dang websites.

At least over half of our state is solidly southern/southeastern.

I realize western Arkansas and NW Arkansas aren't anything like the "deep south" and I'm perfectly fine with that. But Little Rock and most of the geographic area of the state is.

Arkansas is a state that can be southwestern or southeastern depending on where you are. Missouri might have a slight southern flavor to a small part of the state, but it is no way considered a "southern state".

We just have no history at all with them. There's much more "bad blood" between us and Tulsa or Memphis than there is with Missouri. It is a friendly state border. I have almost no opinion about Missouri other than for the most part, it is pretty nice.

I'll definitely wind up going. I have rain gear, I'm just tired right now and feeling tired of Thanksgiving already.

Man I'll just be ready to get out of the house. We have family activities scheduled from the time I wake up tomorrow until around 10:00pm. It's going to be a looooong day.

ETA: But I'm thankful for family.

From Little Rock south and east does fit, pretty much the gulf coastal plain and Mississippi alluvial plain (delta). Otherwise, it starts being a stretch. NWA, a far stretch.

I think it'll be a fun game, but I don't know why so many people are trying to make it a rivalry. Sure we don't like them, but I just don't see it as that strong of a rivalry.

I'm not sure it's fair to say that many are trying to make it a rivalry. After all, rivalries aren't made with handshakes in boardrooms. I'm sure the intention of this "rivalry" is to make money, just as it was with the Boot. The only difference between the two is that LSU became a national power after the Boot was introduced and that gave Arkansas fans incentive to accept it as a rivalry, which is something most didn't do before then.

Forced rivalries are a stupid idea and insulting to everyone. However, they bring in extra money and exposure, so I won't complain. Our rivalry with LSU probably wouldn't be as big today, if it hadn't been forced on us originally, but I still think we'd consider it a big game every year. Missouri's a border state, and since we consider every other border state a rival, I'm not sure why we'd treat them any different? I've always wanted to play Missouri yearly, so I love it.
