Ocelot wouldn't be happy with anything other than an undefeated road record because he's a dumbass.

Road losses are going to happen. If we can end up with an even record on the road, I will be thrilled. We already have 2 road wins vs solid opponents.

Is Tennessee a good basketball team? Keep moving that needle. Do you want to be a championship caliber team? I thought that was our goal. It's certainly my goal. If not, what's the point in playing.

So if you want to be that kind of program, you have to expect to beat inferior teams. Do I expect us to beat Kentucky at Rupp? No. They're a great team. But a road game against a subpar Tennessee team is a very winnable game. And I just happen to think that winning basketball programs should expect to win those kinds of games. Sure, you can acknowledge that "shite happens," obviously. But you can ALSO say, "that's a game we should have won."

Given our recent history, I would be too. But it's hard not to imagine that tonight should have been one of our more realistic chances towards achieving that.

What's scary, though, is that with our best player since Joe Johnson - a true difference maker, we're hoping to finish 500 in a weak basketball conference.

Tell me how good ncst is. Or any other unranked team that will beat all but maybe a handfull of top 25 teams this year.

Even bad teams have good games. Weve certainly had our share the past decade.

.500 on the road. Our best team ever was barely able to beat that.

And that's also a game where you could say we should have won but didn't, instead of calling for Anderson's head.

Hell, we beat Kentucky in a year when we didn't even make the NIT.

Yeah, that's what I meant. Do you feel pretty confident that we can pull it off?

Link to me saying this, ever? I think the worst thing I've said was something like, "I don't think Mike can get it done." Getting it done = winning a championship one day.

I would be happy as a pig in shite if he would just make some adjustments. That could be as simple as player rotations, mixing up the defense, etc, or hiring some new assistants.

edit: we may disagree a lot, but you don't have to lie about shite.

Not really confident. It's possible. I think we will win all of our home games and end up safely in the tourney.

You've made it abundantly clear that you hate Anderson. It's like you sit around and wait for a loss to start posting.

I don't hate Anderson at all. If that is "abundantly clear" to you, maybe you should learn to read gooder.

I have issues with some aspects of MA's coaching. You know, because just about every coach on the planet is a human being that makes mistakes. I've never called for his head. At least not that I can remember, though I suppose it's possible that I was inebriated.

Why is everything SO black and white with you? Criticize the coach? Must be a racist (something you ACTUALLY said) and you hate him and you're a big meanie. How about we have an honest dialogue on ways in which OUR basketball program can improve instead of pretending that everything is perfect? Surely good coaches, such as Bielema, would look at certain trends and look to improve if it meant his team would win more games. If you have any other motive than that, then your relationship with Mike has removed your capacity to offer an unbiased look and you're pointless trying to talk to.

edit: In before 1 sentence ad hominem.

Yet no denial. And, once again, no substantive reply because you know everything I just said was reasonable as shite. No one's out to get your cousin, stonie. I just want our basketball program to be the best it can be. If it's not, I'll point out what I see as deficiencies. If you have a problem with that, I question your worthiness as a Hog fan. T-shirt fan?

Oh lawd if you only knew.

I'm not related to Mike. I just believe he's a good coach that is improving the program after Pelphrey destroyed it.

Uhhhhhh, me too. That's goes directly to my point about seeing everything in black and white.

Got any recommendations? I could use some new Arkansas shirts.
