LITTLE ROCK (KATV) — The second Broadway Bridge arch is set to be floated into place on Friday, December 2, after the original flotation was canceled because a detonation failed to destroy all of a remaining structure back in November.

have been staying downtown little rock often lately. Watching the bridge slowly happen.
With the population and location of this bridge, they demolitions must be limited as to not cause damage to other areas. It has been a paid.
BTW there is a huge bonus if this bridge is built by a specific date, and a huge penality if not...

They found that the detonation DID destroy the piling, but the debris pile was too high. No further explosives were needed.
Also, sorry I don't have the link on my phone, but the city of NLR has some traffic cams, one of which has a great view of the bridge construction.
