BP has supposedly already won the offense over, full of buy in. Everybody from staff to walk ons have said that he will be better here than KB or DE were, they feel like they actually know the guy.

“Taylen Green has impressed me more since he’s been here than KJ ever did” FWIW, multiple people have told me that this kid is the real deal and that there’s something really special about him.
Some staff say that they really feel like this is a sleeper team this year, and that the offense is night and day.
There is also reportedly 2 players that are going to be asked not to come back after spring. Will report the names closer to the end of spring.
Hard not to feel good after hearing those things. We are just getting started here, this is going to be a crazy buildup to the season, lots of news being dropped here over the next month or two, don’t miss out!

I refuse to be lured in early again this year. I’ll wait till the season starts.

I won’t be expecting much this season if Green ends up being the starter. An average QB from an average conference making a huge jump in competition is not something to get excited about.
We’ve seen a huge shift in college football over the past decade in regards to QB play. The run first QBs of early 2000s has been negated with new defensive schemes. The good teams have QBs that can throw it all over the field. The zone reads have turned into RPOs. Greens inability to throw will handicap this team much like KJ and Hornsby etc.

Trey said on 247 that Green is clearly going to be the starter this year. He’s just that much better on day 1 than any of the other QBs.

He’s throwing it better than the others. Only observation from one day so TIFWIW.

I could see Green being the type of QB that just has a mix of NFL worthy throws with “WTF” throws and we just have to take the highs with the lows

Have they said whether Petrino will coach from the booth or sideline this year? I hope it’s the sideline.
