I might be stretching it a little, but reading between the lines it seems like Muss mentioned Brazile, Devo, and Makhi as guys that are probably starters in his head.

Ellis really seeming like PG, so I'm thinking that's 4 of our 5 starters when we get into the regular season

Tramon Mark will be the 5th imo

I think that's likely. Battle will push him but his injury probably put him a little behind

I'm sure it will also be matchup dependent and we'll see some smaller lineups too

I think we started our 2nd team yesterday, so Mark on team 2. My guess is Muss wants a primo defender on the floor at all times so when Devo comes out Mark comes in type of thing.

Then late in games both may see the floor with a lead.

We also know Muss will try a bunch of lineups before settling on a main rotation so there is really no telling come February.

This will be purdues First Game.

Edey will be in what seems to be his 10th year at purdue.

Zach Edey is the tallest player in school history (7-4).

Purdue’s average height is 6-6 1/4. The average height of its scholarship players is 6-7 1/4.

Purdue’s average weight is 210.3 pounds.

Eleven of Purdue’s 17 players are from Indiana.

Purdue has just five states represented on its roster. It has three countries represented.

Purdue has six seniors on its roster, the most for the program since the 2005-06 season,

I think not only does Mark start he will probably be top 2/3 in minutes.

Yeah, guessing the starting lineup for Purdue or opening game seems kind of pointless when considering there is almost a zero chance it will be our line up in March.

I considered Davenport as more of an energy/good bench player for the team but after watching him twice now, I think he has a real shot to content for alot of minutes in the 4 spot.

I agree with the Devo/Mark take

Ellis got that JD look to him when playing

Muss is willing to risk losing a couple of games to iron out his roster. It is why we tend to be lethal down the home stretch and do well in the NCAA but there will be growing pains early in the year.

Which I'm perfectly fine with if we keep making runs in the Big Dance thank you.

I agree with this, but to give ourselves the best chance to take the next step a top 1-2 seed should be a goal.
