Didn't have a good team last year, but I expect them to be decent.

We should thump both of them but I expect Central Arkansas and UALR to come out like their heads are on fire. Some real tests in the OOC schedule but if we do well that will certainly help us come tourney time.

I figure Wednesday games are done for if you're making threads.

so we need to win 100% of Saturday and non Wednesday contests to get anywhere with your plan.

SEC schedule is nice and easy to start, could start 10-1 or so.

Make up for it to end the year goodness. Tenn twice, UF, Kentucky, LSU.

@RazorbackMBB

We've only got 1,450 seats left in BWA and we haven't even begun selling mini plans or single game tickets...

You may wanna consider season tickets.

I already separated. I am in Orlando now, just moving back home to the great state of Arkansas. I have a federal job I will be taking in the Fayetteville region.

Chris Lykes joins Arkansas this year, transferring in from Miami (FL). Lykes has sneakily averaged 15+ points per game the last three seasons. In 2020-21, he improved in every major statistical category and shot 45.5% from three. Katz believes Lykes will shine in Fayetteville as one of the best guards in the country.

Top 9 Returning Scorers

quote:

3. Stanley Umude, Arkansas
2020-21 scoring average: 21.6 points
FG%/3P%/FT%: 46.9%/35.5%/79.9%

Arkansas added South Dakota transfer Stanley Umude to its roster in the offseason. Umude, a 6-6, fifth-year senior, averaged 21.6 points per game last season, which ranked ninth nationally. South Dakota finished second in the Summit League last season with an 11-4 conference record and Umude was the driver of the Coyotes' offense, which ranked as the third-most efficient in the Summit League, per kenpom.com.

Umude took 35.5 percent of the team's shots when he was on the floor, which was the fifth-highest percentage nationally, per kenpom.com. He'll likely be asked to accept a smaller role with Arkansas, which earned a No. 3 seed in the 2021 NCAA tournament and advanced to the Elite Eight, but his already productive shooting percentages (50.3 percent on 2-point attempts and 34.9 percent on 3-pointers) could improve.

Katz also has us as a NINE (!) seed in the preseason bracketology.

Placed behind Kentucky, Alabama, LSU, Florida, Mississippi State in the SEC and seeded on the 9 line with Auburn and only Tennessee behind us as a 10 seed.

That would be unfortunate for the 8 and 1 seeds that get matched with us
