Not really. His spot got taken by McCalister. He would have only been a take to make the fans happy and not let an instate kid walk. It'll get spun that we got beat though by the crowd that doesn't like Bielema.

That early June visit was very telling. They wanted him on board THEN but he acted all surprised about tight numbers. Like it was a shock to him. He held off committing to us because he wanted to pursue a LSU offer at camp and make other visits. By the time that didn't come through for him we had long since moved on adding McCalister.
All along he never seemed especially interested or understood the urgency to get on board. Enjoy four years in Starkville.

And will probably be drafted, sign and never play college baseball unless they are giving him a big scholarship. Hogs have a loaded baseball class for 18 full of pitching.
