He was the first pick of the second day of the draft, going 78th overall. That slot has a $813,500 signing bonus value, according to MLB.com.
The MLB signing deadline is July 15. As a senior, Stobbe hit .437 with 14 home runs and 43 RBIs, earning Nebraska Gatorade player of the year honors.
He is the second Arkansas signee to be taken in the draft, joining catcher Ben Rortvedt, who was a second-round pick Thursday.

Someone bumped the recruiting thread on him at RazorbackTalk and it looks like he visited a couple times and we were in his Top 5 prior to committing to Texas. However, I think there was a huge gap between Texas and teams 2-5.

That dude is pretty much my #1 recruit for us this cycle.
His play fits so well with what we want our RB's to do. He's overlooked somehow but he's got some big time talent.
