"Fulton, who attends Archbishop Rummel (Metairie, La.), has numerous ties to Arkansas. His current teammate Briston Guidry, a 4-star defensive tackle, is an Arkansas commitment. His former teammate Henre’ Toliver was a part of the Razorbacks’ 2014 recruiting class."

Oh when the "any other year" and "only good enough for a grey shirt" recruits combine for the one you want.

Coach Clay Jennings is doing a tremendous job,” Fulton said. “I’ve heard from other coaches that he’s a great coach. Obviously, he knows what he’s talking about. He’s going to make me a much better player than I am right now.”

Kristian Fulton hears Arkansas pitches after win; receives Under Armour Jersey
quote:

"i haven't scheduled any official visits yet," Fulton told the media. "After I do my official visits, that's when I'll sit down with my parents and we'll decide."

Fulton said this likely means he won't be announcing at the Under Armour Game doesn't think he'll have time to take all of his visits before the making the trip to Orlando.

As far as the schools that might get official visits from Fulton they include Arkansas, LSU, Florida, Texas, Texas A&M and North Carolina. Fulton said those are the programs that recruiting him the hardest.

His teammate, defensive lineman Briston Guidry, is committed to Arkansas and after the Razorbacks' win against LSU last weekend Fulton said he heard from Guidry.

"After that game, he texted me and said Arkansas is doing something real special over there," Fulton said. "I believe it too. They really are. That's why they are gonna be one of my top schools."

Fulton's former teammate Henre Toliver plays for the Razorbacks. Fulton said he speaks with current Arkansas defensive back about things other than his recruitment mostly but did say Toliver spoke highly of the Razorbacks DB coach.

"Henre has been telling me about the DB coach up there and I've even heard from other coaches that he's a great coach," Fulton said.

For now Fulton's main focus is helping the Raiders earn a trip to the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. Rummel faces Jesuit Friday. The Blue Jays beat the Raiders in the playoffs last season to earn a trip to Dome and eventually won the Division I state championship.

So Garret Bolles comments that Michigan St. "just felt like home" after his OV there.

Just 'cruit talk or are we missing out?

Hopefully just nice talk. I've never been in that situation but I can imagine it's hard having to turn down a bunch of schools. You form relationships with a dozen coaches and players at each school you're thinking about going to but at the end of the day you have to disappoint all but one.

Hopefully it's just a friendly gesture

"Felt like home" is a stronger comment then say "really like the coaches" or "they have nice facilities"

Always like to hear that comment from a recruit about us.

Pittman finds us 2-3 great ones every year we have a lot to offer.

I have no idea. I would say I'll check with our recruiting insider but we don't have one.

What do we have to do to make this happen?
I think we are the only major program where we don't get any inside information on a recruit. I mean I can rean twitter just like ours do.

Michigan State was probably just as cold as his home in UT. So it felt like home.

3* Topeka, Kansas RB Mike McCoy may be taking an Arkansas visit for Mizzou game. No offer from us yet, KSU has been on him for quite awhile so we'll see. #5 player in Kansas.

quote:

Mike McCoy
6’2”, 215 pounds
Running Back
Topeka H.S, Topeka

Two offers: Kansas and South Dakota State
Interest: Oklahoma State, Kansas State, Louisville, Arkansas

2014 stats: 144 carries for 1,093 rushing yards and 21 touchdowns

McCoy uses his explosiveness and toughness to break through line and gain extra yards after contact. His size and vision enables him to break tackles for big gains. He also has great acceleration and speed to out run defenses.

Jesus Christ.

I said we'd get a JUCO guy we'd never heard of, at least I got the state correct.

Depending on what classification he plays in, he may be fast but isn't very fast when compared to better competition.

I'll assume he's got Big 10 speed and not SEC speed.
