No, early kick. AJB was the only official visitor and he's been committed a while. His game was on Thursday so he was able to arrive yesterday.

The recruits and parents can't make it for 11 am kicks after playing a game the night before when they have to travel long distance.

We had several guys planned to visit for this game until they announced the start time. A lot of them are coming for UT Martin instead which is unfortunate but better than nothing

The real deal is if a recruit wanted to come bad enough they'd come regardless of game time.
Or the staff would bring in recruits that live within a 3-4 hour drive. If recruits wanted to come bad enough.

This was our first SEC home game.
Recruiting is just starting for OVs, the big OV weekends are always post season anyway.

Pretty sure it's ACT testing weekend too, which is why Monk had to reschedule his visit IIRC

Dunno, but if you are senior who is having to take the ACT in October on your senior year to become eligible, you have larger problems to deal with than scheduling OVs...

Some students try to achieve the highest score possible. Taking the ACT more than once, helps that cause.

Fontenot's truck had been broken into before, his story is that he ran outside and caught them messing with his truck and he fired at the truck as they were leaving the scene of an attempted burglary.
I've not seen any of the trial news or testimony but the general perception was that the 3 were not exactly doing the Lord's work that night.

Everything that I read was that they stopped at the wrong place at the wrong time, maybe I missed something.
Maybe I'm wrong, but it sounded like Kelly and the other survivor was unfamiliar with that neighborhood, but the deceased one lived around there.
Who knows, I just didn't take it that Kelly was one of the main culprit in the B&E's of the shooter.

I doubt they were involved with previous incidents, maybe they had an issue w/ that kid and were messing with him.
Hopefully he's nothing but a success up here.
