West said in a recent article that if his academics checked out that he would be here this fall...don't know where the Scholly would come from

Doubt he could go on scholly until January and would count toward '15 class. Seems to be the consensus of what I've read...

It's set! Official visits:
Sept 5th-7th Marquette
Sept 13th-15th Illinois
Sept 19th-21st SMU
Oct 10th-12th Arkansas
Oct 25th-27th Mizzou

Sure you guys have seen, but Whitt has set his officials. Please just tell me Illinois is trailing the pack. No inside stuff, but just from reading, I'm guessing Arky, Mizzou and SMU are the serious contenders.

craziness. The epitome of whoring yourself out and playing the game. I think he knows his stock is gonna tumble in his Sr. season.

FAA make each schools scholarship binding to the student once they sign and must have a slot for him so you might be on to something because going to Dumas wasn't smart.

I sure hope our coaches don't comment if he does sign one with us like they did with Storey and will with Rogers because he's signing multiple. If you comment on a player that has signed multiple FAA and goes somewhere other than your school it's a violation for you.

I normally don't bash recruits, but this is ridiculous. If this is true then it definitely shows a lack of character. DO NOT WANT.

Still want. Who gives a crap if he signs financial aid agreements? Do those even matter that much?

Some coach came up with doing it as a way to show more love to a recruit and help ensure that he didn't flip. Kinda made the oral commit more permanent by having a signed doc that said the school can't back off of you.

Gragg is getting jollies taking everyone for a ride. He's perfect for Texas or Ole Miss.

He's not a put your hand in the dirt and blast off player. Everyone thinks he's physical because of his size and his brother. He plays pretty finesse when you watch his film. Austin Cantrell will be light years better, but I still want Gragg on the hill so we don't have to play him or relive his BS for the next 4 years.

But Bert wants him. Do we know more than Bert?

Our most prized in state recruit is KJ Hill

Gragg isn't being courted half as hard as Hill.

Gragg is a soft body with small hands that will play the recruiting game too long and then be left on the outside looking in on some of his bigger offers.

and you probably think Josh Frazier was pursued 'hard'

at times our coaches have to do things in order to appease our fanbase

Just my opinion but I don't think we would have taken O'Grady and Cantrell if Gragg was a top priority. They'll continue to pursue him and take him if he commits but aren't going to bend over backwards for the kid.

Now look at KJ's situation who it is extremely apparent that they want. They're being very selective in WR offers and aren't pushing anyone hard to commit. They are going to save a spot for him until the day he decides and aren't going to load up on WR's before then.

How do you know that, first of all? Regardless, I never said Gragg was a top priority. I'm sure the coaches aren't investing as much effort into their #25 target as they would their #1. That doesn't mean they don't WANT #25.

Gragg is a soft body

If only we had a strength and conditioning coach.

small hands

Bert cares more about appearing to offer and court an instate player than he does about getting capable TEs? If they don't want him, why are they recruiting him at all? Time is finite.

Would you happen to have the powerball numbers while you're predicting the future?

Then our coaches are fricking pussies. And I don't buy that for a second.

What I DO buy is a bunch of message board posters thinking a 17 year old ACTING LIKE A 17 YEAR OLD is somehow toxic behavior. Or that a player's body can't be changed in, literally, one offseason.

That's fine. But if they'll take him, they believe in him...or we hired a stupid staff. Whether or not he bends over backwards is irrelevant. They either want him or they don't. A lot of people are going to look silly if he actually ends up committing to Arkansas.

Ok Cantrell needs to be looked at DE or MLB. Dude can run and he'll be ready physically.

I'm already pegging Cantrell as one of my favorite hogs in a couple years.

and here's the team that Gragg will play for on any team he signs with.

and just to pile on a little more compare this photo of Gragg at the Opening this summer to the one of Cantrell above.

Gragg Who?

He looks like a child to me. A very tall child but a child none the less.
