Both of our guest rooms and our sectional are taken up with friends with no power! Lots of people will be in the cold tonight.

The ironic part is that we have a whole house generator, but we haven't lost power! The guy who installed it did say that we'd never need it now that we have it!

If your friends power will be out for a while I have a couple of generators I will happily bring down and hook them up with power, limited but some power.

Annnnnnnd...there went our power! Generator kicked on. About 3 transformers blew in a span of about 15 seconds! It was like a disco outside!

Power went out for about an hour and now it keeps going out intermittently. I'm not driving anywhere in this though. I'll just pile up with blankets and bodies

Checking in on the ARranters. All of my fb friends back home are posting no power and trees snapping all over.

I lived in Russellvile for a bit, so I'm curious of this, too.

Yesterday I went to see a movie and walked out to my car covered in snow and icing over. Talk about a shock

7 or 8 inches I figure in Jacksonville. Cars were not leaving the driveway. More snow than ground clearance. Had to bust out the 3/4 ton ford 4x4

I bet the trees on my old property are down all over. Miss that place. I remember wondering why in the world I had vents in the ceiling AND the floor when I bought it. One day when I lost power I made a fire and all of a sudden the entire house felt like it was 90 degrees. The fireplace was vented through the house.

Stay off those roads guys!
