For all the banging on the table that every game matters the OU game gets completely ignored for some reason. Why should the H2H come into play as the tie breaker when bama is pretty much better in every other circumstance

We don’t have a gripe if Texas gets in over us.

Texas is fricking good, and they beat us.

Florida state getting in would be an absolute mockery to the sport. It’s a disgrace that “power 5” is such a broad term like there are 5 equal conferences. There aren’t. The SEC is at the top of the heap and the ACC is at the bottom. We are a runaway 1 seed with that schedule, and just went undefeated in our conference.

If the committee has a lick of integrity the rankings would be

Texas
Alabama
Washington
Michigan

They’ve already told us that won’t happen. A good compromise would be

Michigan
Washington
Texas
Alabama

Florida state doesn’t belong in this tournament. They went undefeated against a far inferior schedule. We played 3 teams better than the best team FSU played. Texas, Ole Miss, and Georgia. FSU, without Travis, goes 0-3 in those games. With Travis they go 1-2. It would be a true mockery if they make the playoffs in their current state. Honestly it’s bullshite Georgia will be left out. If Bama plays Louisville tonight and FSU plays Georgia, the SEC teams win both games by 3+ touchdowns. It would’ve been two bloodbaths.

I am fully prepared for us to be left out, and it will be a fricking mockery. An absolute mockery.

We do have a gripe.

Texas shouldn't be ahead of Alabama and it's just plain common sense.

First off if HEAD to HEAD matters then the best win would be ranked like this...

1.Bama over Georgia
2.Texas over Bama (Week 2)

Moving on...who has the worst loss?

1. Oklahoma over Texas
2. Texas over Bama

Who has the best strength of schedule?

BAMA

Who has the most ranked wins over top teams?

BAMA

So all this dumb crap about how Texas is ahead of us makes ZERO sense with the LOSS to Oklahoma. The loss to Oklahoma should be a thorn in their side because H2H matters.

The only argument should be between FSU & Texas.

BIG FACTS.

Liberty has as strong an argument as Florida State in my mind. Liberty went undefeated and won the C-USA, which is only marginally less difficult than the ACC. In fact, I watched the C-USA title and the ACC title and feel confident in saying there was a higher level of play in the C-USA. The entire world also knows that Liberty has as much chance of winning this tournament as Florida State does with their third string quarterback.

But folks rooting for TX would say something like this..

Texas beat Bama and Bama beat UGA so that makes TX better than both of them.

If we lost to anyone other than Texas, we are definitely in. Even losing to USF instead of UT would get us in.
